Alternative Engagement Rings
By Jacob Ramsey
Not all engagement rings need to be a traditional diamond. Today, some brides may prefer something different
and unique to show that they are engaged. More people are choosing colored gems to create a beautiful engagement stone for their rings. They are using their birthstones
or other colored gems. Except for April (diamond) and June (pearl), all birthstones are colored.
A man can choose to be different and pick a colored stone for his bride. He can
choose her birthstone, zodiac sign stone, or choose a colored gem to represent
a certain quality that she may possess. Here are a few lists to show what he can
choose from.
